Custom hearing protection is highly recommended for both safety and comfort. I personally enjoy concerts and sporting events more with my earplugs than without them—the music seems “cleaner” without the added loud ambient noise.

Our custom earplugs come with 1 removable dB filter, offering different levels of sound reduction: 10dB, 17dB, 26dB, and 33dB.  

For concerts, I’d recommend either the 10dB or 17dB filter:

• 10dB: Ideal if you want to clearly hear music and conversations while still getting some protection(this is what I personally use).

• 17dB: Better protection; especially if you're in very loud environments, close to speakers, or have prolonged exposure.

Each set also includes a filter block, which turns the plugs into solid earplugs—great for additional noise reduction, including for sleep. If needed, you can purchase extra filters for different situations. Sleeping with earplugs is a personal preference and may take some getting used to, but between the dB filter and the filter block, there is no reason that they will not also work for sleep.
